El martes 11 de julio de 2006, tuvo lugar la inauguración de la exposición
“Pintors de la Ribera Alta de Xúquer”, que reúne
una muestra de 13 jóvenes artistas de esta comarca.
El evento contó con la asistencia de los miembros de la junta
de gobierno de la Mancomunitat de la Ribera y el Ministro de Asuntos Culturales de la
Embajada de España en Bélgica.
En esta exposición, organizada por la Mancomunitat de la Ribera
se ha podido observar una muestra representativa
de jóvenes pintores de la Ribera, con diversas técnicas y temáticas,
una diversidad que representa los contrastes de la comarca.
The exhibition "Painters from Ribera del Xuquer" gathers a sample of 13 young artists. The opening of the event was attended by members of the Governing Board of the Mancomunitat, with its president,and the Minister of Cultural Affairs of the Embassy of Spain in Belgium.
In this exhibition is possible to observe a representative sample of young painters with various techniques and topics, a diversity that represents the contrasts of the region.
The aim of the exhibition is to spread the creativity of young artists from this part of the Region and provide a meeting point for local and regional cooperation at european level.
